Every summer when I go to Ohio, we head to my Aunt and Uncle's camp in Southern Ohio for a weekend! This year I met them there on my own since I drove in...Let me tell you it was QUIET the adventure!
I got to Marietta OH, and headed up 26, toward 260...well I got to about 5 miles from the split to 260 and 26 is CLOSED...well crap...I dont know the other way up other than going ALL the way back down to Marrietta and taking 260 all the way up...and this would put me into camp while its dark and I didnt know that way....so I just had my GPS reroute me....ok people who read this blog...in Southern OH your GPS or Map may say there is a road there...but 9/10 there is no road...well this one took me to a paved road...I thought YES! Perfect...well it was a 2 mile road and half a mile down it...it turns to gravel...ok..I can do this no biggie... until I went down a huge hill and and at the bottom there was a crick....I got out looked and it wasnt deep I could drive over it...so I did...then and the bottom of the next hill there was another crick...this time a massive rock sits in the middle of it...but I was scared and stressed so I said forget it...and I closed my eyes and floored it...and to my luck.. I made it up the other side! THANK GOD! I finally got to 260 my car and me in 1 piece and made it to camp before dark...shaking and crying to find my aunt and uncle doing this!

chopping wood on...no it was chopping up a tree than had fallen on the roof of the cabin! (1st one in 15 years!)
that night we played get the ping pong ball in the cup on the other end of the room....this was because it was POURING outside!
The next day the rain stoped so we did our normal...which was send the little kids on a scavenger hunt and we sat around talking...playing cornhole...reading...and relaxing...we also took a trip to the spring!
Riley enjoyed camp! He did great!
Here is the whole gang before we headed home after our weekend at camp...the sun finally came out!!
(the amount of people who come each year varies, some times we have the cabin and tents full this time we all had plenty of room in bed!)

(to bad Emily didn't get to show her wrath...)
